The wise men brought gold, frankincense and myrrh. The minister challenges us to ask ourselves  'What will you bring?' to your faith in the coming year. Scripture is from Matthew 2:1-12.

Luke 2:1-7 is the scripture reading on this Christmas Eve. Celebration of the birth of Jesus the minister asks some important questions of ourselves.

John 1:1-14 forms the sermon on this the Third Sunday of advent. In today's sermon the minister references the opening verse of John with Genesis 1:1 and Isaiah 9 v 2. 

The passage concludes with v14 'And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son[d] from the Father, full of grace and truth'.

Today we reach the 4th Sunday in advent. The minister reflects on the meaning of 'Joy' with scripture from Luke 2:8-14.

Second Sunday of advent and 'Hope' is the theme with Scripture from Matthew 1:18-25, Genesis 3:1-15 and Romans 5:12-15. Hopem is a very apt feeling just now as we move towards the celebration of our Saviours Birth.

We begin our lead up to Christmas Day with a series of sermons reflecting Christmas and it’s meaning. Rev Jonathan    uses Isaiah 9:1-7 along with John 14:25-27 to reflect on ‘Peace’ to the world!

On this Remembrance Sunday 2022 we reflect on many conflicts in the years past. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the conflict in the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic seas. The minister has chosen Psalm 18:25-30 to bring today into sharp focus

Rev Mark Malcolm from Chryston Parish Church concludes our study of 1 Peter 5:6 -11. The concluding verses ask some very interesting questions about our faith.

Moving into the final chapter of 1 Peter we turn our eyes and hears to the message from Peter to the Flock of God. 

Continuing from last week we turn to scripture 1 Peter 3:18-22 as a prelude to 4:12-19. The sermon reflects on Peters use of Old Testament passages from Malachi and Isaiah.
